Cause Branding: Half-Day Workshop

About the Workshop

Your cause needs to speak - and quickly.

With their attention pulled in a dozen directions, potential allies need to know that you have common values. Prospective clients need to know that you are the place to find support. And donors need to know that you are the best place to put their funds.

A brand will quickly and accurately convey this information to the audiences that matter the most.

During the workshop you will:

  1. Define project profile - who you are, what you do, and why
  2. Clearly visualize your brand goals by creating a picture of what you want to achieve
  3. Identify the audiences you most need to achieve that success, both collaborators and clients
  4. Define your positioning as you relate to these key audience
  5. Create a succinct description of you brand personality - what you are, what you are not, and to whom
  6. Put it all together in a concise brand analysis that you can share with other stakeholder after the workshop

And support doesn't stop when the workshop ends.  After the workshop, you can email your brand analysis to instructor Katrina Noble, who will give you personalized feedback.  It's all included in the price of admission!

By the end of the workshop you'll have a complete brand analysis that will set your project or organization apart and help you do good in the world.

About the Instructor

Katrina Noble is a graphic designer with ten years' experience working with organizations making the world a safer, more equitable, and more interesting place. She has a roster of clients that range from tiny nonprofits to multi-national organizations, including Partners in HealthInternational Recue Committee, and organic food producer Red Fire Farm.  She understands the challenges and opportunities of design in lean contexts. Katrina sees design as a kind of visual translation service; everyone has something they need to communicate, and design offers a way to bridge the gap.  She is a graduate of Massahusetts College of Art & Design (MassArt) and George Washington University.
